GPS PDA
A PDA (or personal digital assistant) device is a handheld machine designed to aid the user in organization and planning. Initially this technology was designed primarily to store phone numbers, addresses and calendar lists, but the technology on these devices has increased significantly over the years.
Today’s PDA can access the internet and focus as something very close to a cell phone. Additionally, some of these PDAs come equipped with GPS technology. These devices are very much like other handheld GPS devices, except they have all the stored information which the PDA is designed to hold.
The pairing of these two technologies is a natural fit in many ways. As one example, GPS technology can be immensely helpful for arriving to meetings on time, and PDA devices keep track of those meetings.
